To prepare for my most recent Shark Tank Audition, I attended a "Pitch the Shark" breakfast competition, where I got to give a 30 second pitch to Daymond John, and put The Bead Barrette in his hand!

Although I did not land a deal with the Sharks, I did land a deal with Walmart!  The two most exciting parts of this journey was 1) Receiving my first sample package of Bead Barrettes and seeing my kid's excitement about the accomplishment.  2) Getting the email from Walmart stating that they would be rolling out my product in 450 Walmart stores across the country! (I now prefer to sell directly to the customer and boutique retailers, so don't go looking for The Bead Barrette in Walmart!)  

My kids, and even one of my neighbor's kids proved to be valuable human resources, although the FedEx guy may disagree!    To this day, my kids help me sort, pick, pack and ship to get daily orders out the door..
